Train
If you are in Cologne, take the S-Bahn (S6 or S11) from Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station) to Bonn Hauptbahnhof (Bonn Central Station). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bonn Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and look for the bus stop just outside the station.
Bus
From Bonn Hauptbahnhof, take bus line 620 towards 'Bonn, Bad Godesberg'. Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at 'Bonn, Poststraße'. From the bus stop, walk straight along Poststraße for about 200 meters. The Ägyptisches Museum will be on your left at Poststraße 26.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from Bonn Hauptbahnhof, it is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the station and head south on Wenzelgasse towards the market square. Continue straight onto Am Hauptbahnhof, crossing the river. Follow the road as it curves and becomes Poststraße. The museum will be located on your left at number 26.
