Train
From Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn S12 or S19 towards Bonn. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Bonn Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive, follow the signs to the tram station nearby.
Tram
At Bonn Hauptbahnhof, take Tram Line 61 towards Bad Godesberg. Ride for about 5 stops and get off at the 'Universität' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk. Exit the tram station and head east on Meckenheimer Allee. Continue straight until you reach the Botanical Garden at Meckenheimer Allee 169.
Bus
From Bonn Hauptbahnhof, you can also take Bus Line 610 or 611. After a 6-8 minute ride, get off at the 'Botanischer Garten' stop. The Botanical Garden is directly accessible from the bus stop. Just follow the pathway leading into the garden entrance.
Walking
If you're already in Bonn's city center, you can walk to the Botanical Garden. Head south on Bonngasse, turn right onto Oxfordstraße, and then left onto Meckenheimer Allee. Walk straight for about 20 minutes (approximately 1.5 km) until you reach Meckenheimer Allee 169, the entrance to the Botanical Garden.
