Getting There

• Public Transport

  If you are near the Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof), head towards the exit that leads to the Dom (Cathedral). Once outside, turn left and walk along the main street, Breite Straße, for about 5 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Schildergasse. Turn right on Schildergasse and walk straight until you reach the end of the street. Then, take a left onto Buttermarkt. Papa Joe's Jazz Bar will be on your left at Buttermarkt 37.

• Walking

  From the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom), exit the cathedral and walk down the steps towards the river. Once you reach the riverbank, turn right and follow the promenade along the Rhine River. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the Old Town (Altstadt). As you enter the Old Town, look for the signs directing you to Buttermarkt. Once you reach Buttermarkt, Papa Joe's Jazz Bar will be located at number 37.

• Tram

  Locate the nearest tram stop, which is likely at Köln Hauptbahnhof. Board tram line 5 or 18 heading towards either 'Heumarkt' or 'Chlodwigplatz'. Get off at the 'Heumarkt' stop. From there, walk straight towards the Rhine River. Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the Old Town. Follow the signs to Buttermarkt, and Papa Joe's Jazz Bar will be at Buttermarkt 37.

• Bus

  Find the closest bus stop, which is usually near large landmarks like the Cathedral. Take bus line 106 or 132 and get off at the 'Heumarkt' stop. After exiting, walk straight towards the river, then turn left and follow the promenade. Walk straight for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the Old Town area. Look for Buttermarkt, and you will find Papa Joe's Jazz Bar at Buttermarkt 37.
