The journey to Erlangen takes approximately 3 hours. Once you arrive at Erlangen train station (Erlangen Bahnhof), exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Take bus line 294 towards 'Erlangen Stadtmitte'. Get off at the 'Rathausplatz' stop, which is the closest stop to Rathaus Erlangen. Walk a short distance to Rathauspl. 1 to reach your destination.

From Cologne, head to the Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof). Board an ICE (InterCity Express) train heading towards Nuremberg (Nürnberg). Ensure you get on the right train, as some may not stop at Erlangen. The journey takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Erlangen train station, exit and follow signs for the bus terminal. Take bus number 294 towards 'Erlangen Stadtmitte' and disembark at 'Rathausplatz'. Walk to Rathauspl. 1, where Rathaus Erlangen is located.
