    Train

    From Cologne, head to the Cologne Central Station (Köln Hauptbahnhof). Take a regional train (RE) or an S-Bahn train towards Düsseldorf. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Düsseldorf Central Station, follow the signs for 'Ausgang' (exit) and head towards the exit that leads to the city center. From there, you can walk to the Rheinuferpromenade.

    You can also take a bus from Cologne to Düsseldorf. Head to the Cologne Central Bus Station (ZOB) located next to the Central Station. Look for buses heading to Düsseldorf. The journey takes about 1 hour on average. Once you arrive at Düsseldorf Central Bus Station, you can walk or take a local tram to the Rheinuferpromenade.

    After reaching Düsseldorf Central Station, you can take tram line 701 or 708. Board the tram towards 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. Get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' station. From there, it's a short walk to the Rheinuferpromenade. Simply follow the signs to the Rhine River, and you will find the promenade along the water.
