Marktplatz is easily accessible via Düsseldorf's extensive public transport network. From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U-Bahn lines U70, U74, U75, U76, U77, or U79 to the Heinrich-Heine-Allee station. From there, it's a short walk of approximately 5 minutes. Follow Bolkerstraße towards the Rathaus; the Marktplatz will be on your right. A single ticket (Kurzstrecke) for a short trip costs around €1.90. Alternatively, from other parts of the city, trams 701, 705, 706, 709 and 715 also stop at Heinrich-Heine-Allee.

Walking
Marktplatz is located in the heart of Düsseldorf's Altstadt and is easily reachable on foot from most central locations. From Königsallee, walk north towards the Rhine River. Turn left onto Bolkerstraße and continue straight until you reach the Rathaus. The Marktplatz will be directly in front of you. The walk is approximately 10 minutes. From Burgplatz, simply walk east along the Rhine River promenade, then turn left onto Marktstraße. This leads directly to Marktplatz.
