If you are in the Altstadt area of Dresden, head towards the Elbe River. Walk to the nearest bridge, the Augustusbrücke. Cross the bridge to reach the Neustadt district. Once you are on the other side, continue straight ahead and take the first left onto Königstraße. Follow this street until you reach the Neustädter Markt. The Golden Rider statue is located at Neustädter Markt 14, which is in the center of this square.

From anywhere in Altstadt, locate the nearest tram stop. You can take tram lines 3 or 8 from Albertplatz or any nearby stop. Ride towards the direction of 'Neustadt'. Exit at the 'Neustädter Markt' stop. The Golden Rider statue is just a short walk from the tram stop, approximately 5 minutes on foot. As a reminder, a single-ride ticket costs around €2.90, which you can purchase at ticket machines located at the tram stops.
