Public Transport - Tram
From Dresden Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take tram line 3 or 7 towards 'Dresden Altstadt'. The tram stop is located just outside the main entrance of the train station. The ride takes about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Altmarkt' or 'Prager Str.' which are both in the heart of Altstadt. From either stop, you can easily walk to major attractions like the Frauenkirche and the Zwinger Palace.
