Public Transport
From Dresden, take tram line 3 towards 'Klotzsche' and get off at 'Pillnitzer Platz' stop. Transfer to bus line 94 towards 'Jílové-Děčín' and ride until the 'Jílové-Děčín' stop. Once you disembark, follow the signs towards the hiking trails leading to Děčínský Sněžník. The trailhead is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.
Walking
If you are already in the town center of Dresden, start at the Frauenkirche and walk towards the Elbe River. Take the scenic path along the riverbank and continue until you reach the 'Pillnitz Castle and Park' area. From there, follow the trail signs leading up to Děčínský Sněžník. The hike will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in Dresden. Start from the Altmarkt and head towards the Elbe River, following the bike path along the river. Continue cycling upstream to reach 'Pillnitz'. From there, you can access the trails leading up to Děčínský Sněžník. The bike ride will take about 1 hour, plus the time needed for the hike.
