Getting There

    From Dresden, head to the main train station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof). Purchase a ticket to Moritzburg, which is served by S-Bahn line S2 towards Radebeul or S-Bahn line S3 towards Altenburg. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Moritzburg station. From the station, follow the signs towards the Moritzburg Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk. You will walk along the picturesque Schloßallee to reach the castle.

    From the center of Dresden, make your way to the bus stop 'Dresden, Postplatz' which is near the famous Frauenkirche. Take bus number 326 towards Moritzburg. The bus ride takes around 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Moritzburg, Schloss'. The Moritzburg Castle is directly in front of you after disembarking, making it very easy to access.
