If you're starting from the Dresden Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), exit the station and head southeast on Bayrische Straße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Wilsdruffer Straße. Turn left onto Wilsdruffer Straße and walk until you reach the Altmarkt square. From Altmarkt, head towards the Frauenkirche, then follow the path to the south, crossing the Brühl's Terrace (Brühlsche Terrasse). Continue straight, and you will soon find yourself on the Neue Promenade, which runs along the Elbe River, offering beautiful views.

From the Dresden Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 3 (direction: Coschütz) or tram line 7 (direction: Weixdorf) from the tram stop located just outside the main station. It should be about a 10-minute walk from the tram stop to the promenade.
