Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Neustadt area, head towards the Albertplatz, a central square in Neustadt. You can easily reach it by walking along Albertstraße. Once at Albertplatz, look for the tram stop 'Albertplatz' and board tram line 4 or 9 towards 'Gorbitz' or 'Hauptbahnhof' respectively.

  • Tram

    After boarding the tram, stay on until you reach the 'Postplatz' stop. This journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Once you disembark at 'Postplatz', you will see the famous Semper Opera House directly ahead. From here, walk towards the Zwinger, which is just a few minutes away.

  • Walking

    As you exit the tram at 'Postplatz', walk towards the Semper Opera House. Just to the left of the Opera House, you will find a path that leads directly to the Zwinger. The Zwinger is located at Sophienstraße, 01067 Dresden, and you will see its impressive baroque architecture as you approach.
