From Düsseldorf central station (Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn line S6 or S11 towards Köln. The journey will take approximately 35 minutes. Disembark at Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station). Once at Köln Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and head towards the Dom (Cathedral). From the Cathedral, walk towards the north on the Domstraße, then take a left onto the Gereonskloster street. Continue straight until you reach the Basilica of St. Gereon, located at Gereonskloster 2. The walk should take about 15 minutes.

If you are already in the city center of Düsseldorf, you can simply walk to the nearest tram station, which is located at Heinrich-Heine-Allee. Take tram line 701 or 709 towards Köln and get off at the last stop, Köln Hauptbahnhof. From there, follow the same instructions as above to reach the Basilica of St. Gereon.
