Public Transport
From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station), take the S8 train towards Mönchengladbach. Get off at the Köln Messe/Deutz station (approximately a 45-minute ride). Once you arrive, exit the station and head towards the Deutz Bridge (Deutzer Brücke). Cross the bridge on foot, and you will see the Lanxess Arena straight ahead. It’s about a 15-minute walk from the bridge.

Train
You can take an ICE or IC train from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof to Köln Hauptbahnhof (Cologne Central Station). The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Köln Hauptbahnhof, follow the signs to the S-Bahn (S-train) and take the S8 towards Mönchengladbach. Get off at Köln Messe/Deutz and follow the same directions as above to reach Lanxess Arena.

From the Düsseldorf city center, you can take bus line 720 towards Köln. Get off at the stop 'Köln Deutz Bahnhof'. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Lanxess Arena. Just head straight down the road until you reach the arena.

Walking
If you are near the Rhine River in Düsseldorf, you can enjoy a scenic walk. Head towards the bridge (Oberkasseler Brücke or Deutzer Brücke). Cross the bridge to Cologne, then walk straight towards Willy-Brandt-Platz. The Lanxess Arena will be on your left. This walk takes approximately 1 hour but offers beautiful views of the river and city.
