Public Transport
From Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the U78 or U79 tram towards 'Duisburg' or 'Mönchengladbach'. Get off at the 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' stop. From there, walk towards the Rhine River; this should take about 10 minutes. Once you reach the riverbank, head south along the promenade until you see the Rheintreppe observation deck.

From the 'Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof', take bus line 722 towards 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. Get off at 'Rheinufer'. From the bus stop, walk towards the Rhine River. Follow the path south along the river until you reach the Rheintreppe observation deck, which is clearly marked.
