Getting There

• Walking

  If you are already in Oberkassel, head towards the main street, which is the B7 (also known as Oberkasseler Strasse). Walk along the B7 towards the north until you reach the traffic light intersection with Eberhardstraße. Cross the street at the lights and continue walking straight. After a short walk, you will see Barbarossa Platz on your left. The square is located at Barbarossapl., 40545 Düsseldorf. This walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes, depending on your starting point.

• Public Transportation (Tram)

  From any point in Oberkassel, locate the nearest tram stop. You can take tram line 701 or 704 towards 'Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof' (main station). Get off at the 'Oberkassel' stop. From there, you can walk to Barbarossa Platz by heading north along the B7 (Oberkasseler Strasse) and following the directions provided above. The tram ride costs around €2.50 for a single ticket, which you can purchase at the tram stop vending machines.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from local bike-sharing services available in Oberkassel. Start by heading towards the B7 and then cycle north along the street until you reach the traffic light intersection with Eberhardstraße. At the intersection, take a left onto Eberhardstraße and continue cycling until you see Barbarossa Platz on your left. The cycling distance is approximately 2 km, and it should take about 10 minutes depending on your speed.
