Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Erfurt Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head south on Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Anger. Turn left onto Anger and walk straight for about 800 meters, passing shops and cafes. At the end of Anger, you will reach the historic area. Continue straight onto Mühlstraße. After a short walk, you will see the impressive Erfurt Cathedral (Dom) on your left. Domplatz is located directly in front of the Cathedral.

Tram
If you prefer to take public transport, you can catch tram line 1 or 3 from Erfurt Hauptbahnhof. Get off at the 'Domplatz' stop. From the tram stop, you will see the Cathedral ahead. Just walk towards it and you'll be at Domplatz.

Walking from the Old Town
If you are in the Old Town area, navigate towards the Krämerbrücke (Merchants' Bridge). From there, head southeast along the street called 'Krämerstraße.' Continue until you reach the intersection with Domstraße. Turn right onto Domstraße, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Domplatz, where you can admire the Cathedral.
