Start at Erfurt's main train station (Erfurt Hauptbahnhof). Exit the station and head south towards the main road (Gothaer Str.). Turn left on Gothaer Str. and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Anger. From there, you will see the large public square known as Anger. Continue walking straight across Anger and head towards the old town. As you approach the historic Altstadt, you will find yourself on a street called Michaelisstraße. Follow this street until you reach the large square called Fischmarkt. The Fischmarkt will be directly in front of you, surrounded by beautiful historic buildings.
