    From Essen Hauptbahnhof (Central Station), take the S-Bahn line S6 towards Düsseldorf. The train ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. Once you arrive, follow the signs to exit the station.

    Exit Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof and head to the tram stop located just outside the station. Take tram line 701 or 709 towards 'Bilk' or 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. Get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Burgplatz. Head towards the Rhine River; Burgplatz is located along the riverbank.

    If you prefer to walk from Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, it's around a 15 to 20-minute walk. Exit the station and walk straight down Worringer Strasse.
