Train
From Essen, head to Essen Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can take the U11 tram from the station to the stop 'Essen Steele', which is a straightforward connection. From there, switch to the S1 train towards 'Duisburg Hauptbahnhof'. Once you arrive at Duisburg Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and follow the signs to the bus terminal. Take bus line 903 towards 'Duisburg Rathaus' and get off at the stop 'Duisburg Innenhafen'. From there, it's a short walk to Hansegracht 10, where the Duisburg Inner Harbour is located.
Bus
You can also take a direct bus from Essen to Duisburg. Head to the bus station at Essen Steele and take the bus number 160 towards 'Duisburg'. After about 30 minutes, get off at the 'Duisburg Innenhafen' stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards Hansegracht 10, and you will arrive at the Duisburg Inner Harbour.
Walking and Tram
If you're close to the city center of Essen, you can walk to the Essen Steele tram stop. From there, take the U11 tram towards 'Duisburg'. Stay on the tram for about 20 minutes until you reach the 'Duisburg Innenhafen' stop. After getting off, you will find yourself near Hansegracht 10.
