From Essen Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S6 or S11 train towards Düsseldorf. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. From there, transfer to tram line 701 or 707 at the Hauptbahnhof tram stop. Board the tram heading towards 'Waldstraße' or 'Neuss' respectively. Ride for about 6 stops and get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. From the tram stop, walk approximately 5 minutes west along Heinrich-Heine-Allee, then turn left onto Schulstraße. The Filmmuseum Düsseldorf will be on your right at Schulstraße 4.
