From Essen Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take the S6 or S11 train towards Düsseldorf. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (main station). Once you arrive, exit the station towards Worringer Str. and continue walking straight. After about 10-15 minutes, you will reach Hofgarten, which is located in the city center.
