From Essen Central Station (Essen Hauptbahnhof), take the S-Bahn (S1) towards Dortmund. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at Dortmund Hbf (Main Station). From there, transfer to the U-Bahn (U45) towards Hörde. After about 10 minutes, get off at the 'Phoenixplatz' station, which is just a short walk from your destination.
