From Essen Central Station (Essen Hbf), take the S-Bahn line S2 towards Dortmund. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Dortmund-Hombruch'. From there, exit the station and walk north on Hombrucher Str. for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Rombergpark Botanical Garden.
