Tram
If you're starting from Essen's main train station (Essen Hauptbahnhof), head to the tram stop directly outside the station. Take tram line 701 towards 'Düsseldorf' or line 703 towards 'Duisburg', and get off at 'Düsseldorf, Hauptbahnhof'. From there, transfer to tram line 701 towards 'Duisburg' and continue until you reach the 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' stop. Exit the tram and walk towards the Rhine River; you will see Rathausufer ahead. Walk along the river for about 5 minutes until you reach Rathausufer 20, where SegwayPoint Düsseldorf is located.
Train
From Essen Hauptbahnhof, catch an S-Bahn train (S6 or S1) heading towards Düsseldorf. The journey takes around 30 minutes. Disembark at 'Düsseldorf Hbf' (Düsseldorf Main Station). Once at the station, exit and follow the signs to the tram station. Take tram line 701 towards 'Duisburg' and get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee'. Continue walking towards the Rhine River, and after a 5-minute stroll along the riverbank, you will arrive at Rathausufer 20.
Bus
From the Essen city center, you can catch the bus line 145 from 'Essen Steele', which goes directly to 'Düsseldorf'. The bus ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at 'Düsseldorf', head to the nearest tram stop and board tram line 701 towards 'Duisburg'. Get off at 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' and walk towards the river; SegwayPoint Düsseldorf is at Rathausufer 20, just a short 5-minute walk along the river.
Walking
If you are already in Düsseldorf, and close to the city center, you can walk to SegwayPoint. From the 'Heinrich-Heine-Allee' tram stop, walk towards the Rhine River. Follow the path along the riverbank for about 15 minutes; you will see the beautiful views of the river and the city. SegwayPoint Düsseldorf is located at Rathausufer 20.
