Driving
If arriving by car from a nearby town like Rothenburg ob der Tauber or Ansbach, follow the signs for Colmberg. Once in Colmberg, follow the signs directing you towards Burg Colmberg. The castle is located on a hill overlooking the village, and the road leading up to it is well-marked. Free parking is available on the premises, just outside the castle walls. Be aware that the road leading to the castle is steep and winding, so drive carefully. During peak season, parking spaces may be limited, especially around dinner time.

For those arriving by public transport, take a train to Ansbach or Leutershausen-Wiedersbach. From Ansbach, take bus line 731 to Colmberg Rathaus (town hall). From Leutershausen-Wiedersbach, walk to the Leutershausen-Wiedersbach Bf (train station) and take the line 731 bus to Colmberg Rathaus. From the Colmberg Rathaus bus stop, it's approximately a 15-20 minute walk uphill to the castle. Bus tickets typically cost around €3-€6 depending on the distance.
