From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the S8 or S9 S-Bahn towards Wiesbaden. You will need to travel for about 30 minutes. Get off at Eltville station. From there, it is approximately a 30-minute walk to Eberbach Abbey. Exit the station and head towards the main road, B42. Follow the signs towards Kloster Eberbach, which will lead you along a scenic route.

From Frankfurt, take the regional bus line 171 from Frankfurt Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) to Eltville. The journey takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Eltville, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Eberbach Abbey, which is about 3 km away. Walking will take about 40 minutes; simply head northwest along the Kloster-Eberbach-Str. to reach the Abbey.

Start at Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof and take a regional train to Eltville station. From Eltville, switch to bus line 171 that goes directly to the Kloster Eberbach stop. This option usually takes around an hour, depending on the waiting time for the bus.
