Getting There

  • Public Transport - U-Bahn

    If you are near any U-Bahn (subway) station in Frankfurt, take the U6 or U7 lines towards 'Hausen' or 'Bockenheim' respectively. Get off at the 'Hauptwache' station, which is about 4 stops from 'Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof' (Main Train Station). Once you exit the station, follow the signs to 'Zeil', the main shopping street. From 'Zeil', walk towards the 'Frankfurter Römer' square and then head south towards 'Untermainanlage'. Oper Frankfurt is located directly on this street at Untermainanlage 11.

  • Public Transport - S-Bahn

    From Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, take any S-Bahn train (S1, S2, S3, S4, S6, S8) heading to 'Höchst' or 'Bad Soden' and get off at 'Konstablerwache' station, which is about 3 stops. From Konstablerwache, exit the station and head west towards 'Zeil'. Continue walking straight until you reach the 'Frankfurter Römer' square. From there, walk south on 'Untermainanlage'; Oper Frankfurt will be on your left side at Untermainanlage 11.

    If you're in the city center, you can walk to Oper Frankfurt. Start from 'Römer', the historic town hall. Head south on 'Untermainanlage' street, which is just a short 10-minute walk. As you walk south, you will see the beautiful views of the river Main on your left. Continue straight until you reach Untermainanlage 11, where Oper Frankfurt is located.

  • Tram

    If you are near a tram stop, take tram line 11 or 12 towards 'Südbahnhof'. Get off at 'Willy-Brandt-Platz'. From the tram stop, walk towards the 'Frankfurter Römer' square, then head south along 'Untermainanlage'. Oper Frankfurt is located at Untermainanlage 11, just a few minutes' walk from the square.
