From Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), purchase a ticket to Eguisheim. Board a train heading to Colmar, which typically departs every 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Colmar station, exit the train and look for the bus stop outside the station. Take bus line 106 towards 'Eguisheim'. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Eguisheim' stop. From there, follow the signs to the town center, which is a short 5-minute walk.

If you prefer to go directly by bus, you can take bus line 108 from Freiburg to Colmar. The bus departs from Freiburg central bus station (ZOB). Ensure to check the schedule as the bus may not run frequently. After arriving at Colmar, transfer to bus line 106 towards 'Eguisheim' and get off at the 'Eguisheim' stop. The town center is a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

For an adventurous option, consider cycling to Eguisheim. Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Freiburg. Head towards the bike path that leads to the Dreisam river, follow the river upstream until you reach the sign for 'Rheinhausen'. Then, follow signs for 'Eguisheim'.
