If you are starting from Freiburg Stadtmitte (the city center), walk towards the Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From the station, head north on Bismarckallee. Cross the road and continue on the pedestrian path until you reach the main square, Augustinerplatz. At the square, turn left onto Rathausgasse. Follow this street until you reach the Rathaus (town hall). From there, head east on Breisgauer Strasse, and continue straight until you reach the bus stop 'Freiburg Rathaus'.

Public Transport - Tram
From Freiburg Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 1 or line 3 in the direction of 'Vogtsburg' or 'Littenweiler'. Get off at the 'Rathaus' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk a short distance eastwards on Breisgauer Strasse, and you will reach Théâtre Municipal, located at 3 Rue des Unterlinden, Colmar, France.

Rent a bike from any of the bike rental stations near Freiburg Hauptbahnhof. Head north on Bismarckallee, then take the cycle path towards Breisgauer Strasse. Continue straight until you reach the border and follow the cycle lanes to Colmar. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.
