Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Freiburg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit the station and head towards the main street, Kaiser-Joseph-Straße. Walk straight down this pedestrian street for about 10 minutes until you reach the historic Martinstor (Martin's Gate). From there, turn left onto Gerberau street and continue until you reach the Stadtgarten park. As you enter Stadtgarten, look for the signs pointing towards the Schlossbergbahn, which will lead you directly to the cable car station.
