Getting There

  • U-Bahn (Subway)

    If you are near Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take the U-Bahn line U1 towards Norderstedt Mitte. Get off at the stop 'Lübecker Straße'. From there, exit the station and walk towards the intersection of Lübecker Straße and Steinstraße. Turn left onto Steinstraße, which will lead you to the Chilehaus.

  • Bus

    If you are near a bus stop, you can take bus line 6 or 7. If you take bus line 6, get off at the 'Lübecker Straße' stop. If you take bus line 7, get off at the 'Fischertwiete' stop. From either stop, walk towards Fischertwiete 2A; you will see the Chilehaus ahead.

  • Walking

    If you are already in the city center or nearby, simply walk to Fischertwiete 2A, Hamburg. From the main shopping street Mönckebergstraße, head towards the north on Mönckebergstraße until you reach the intersection with Steinstraße. Turn left onto Steinstraße, and then take your first right onto Fischertwiete. Continue straight, and you will see the Chilehaus on your left.

  • Tram

    If you are near a tram stop, take tram line 3 or 6 towards 'Barmbek' or 'Bergedorf'. Get off at the 'Rathausmarkt' stop. From there, walk towards the north on Rödingsmarkt, then turn left onto Steinstraße. Continue straight until you reach Fischertwiete, where you will find the Chilehaus.
