Getting There

  • Walking

    From the heart of Sternschanze, head southwest towards the intersection of Sternschanzenstraße and Schanzenstraße. Walk along Schanzenstraße until you reach the traffic lights at the intersection with Schröderstiftstraße. Turn right onto Schröderstiftstraße. Continue straight for about 300 meters, and you will see the entrance to Schanzenpark on your left. The walk should take approximately 10-15 minutes.

    If you prefer to use public transport, you can take the U-Bahn (subway). Head to the Sternschanze U-Bahn station, which is close to the area. Board the U2 line towards Niendorf Nord and travel just one stop to the St. Pauli station. Exit the train and follow the signs to exit the station. Once outside, walk straight towards the intersection of Budapester Straße and turn left onto Schröderstiftstraße. After about a 5-minute walk, you will arrive at Schanzenpark. The ticket for the U-Bahn costs around €3.40 for a single journey.
