If you are starting from Hannover Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head to the bus stop directly outside. Take bus line 100 or 200 towards the direction of 'Wettbergen' or 'Misburg' respectively. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Maschsee'. From the bus stop, walk towards Arthur-Menge-Ufer. You will see the lake directly ahead and can enjoy a scenic walk along the water.
