Car
From your location in Harz National Park, set your GPS to Nationalpark Harz, 38667 Bad Harzburg. Follow the B6 road towards Bad Harzburg. Take the exit for Bad Harzburg and continue on the local roads. Look for signs directing you to WaldWandelWeg. There is parking available nearby, but be aware that parking may incur a fee, typically around €4 for the day.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a train to Bad Harzburg station. From the station, you can either walk approximately 2 km to WaldWandelWeg, taking the street B4 and following signs towards the park, or catch a local bus that heads towards the park. Be sure to check local bus schedules as they may vary, and a single ticket will cost around €2.50.
Walking from Bad Harzburg
If you prefer to walk from Bad Harzburg, exit the train station and head southwest on B4. Continue straight for about 1.5 km until you reach the entrance to WaldWandelWeg. The trail starts just past the information center, where you can find maps and guides. This walk takes approximately 20-30 minutes.
