If you're driving from Wernigerode, head southwest on B6 towards the A36. Continue on B6 for about 8 km. Take the exit towards Wernigerode/Quedlinburg and follow the signs for Zillierbachtalsperre. After approximately 6 km, you'll reach the dam. There is a parking area available near the site, but be mindful of any parking fees that may apply.

From Wernigerode, take the bus number 252 towards Elbingerode. The journey takes about 25 minutes. Get off at the Zillierbachtalsperre stop. From there, it’s a short walk to the dam. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may vary.
