The walk is uphill, but well-signed. Look for signs pointing towards the castle or the Stadtinformation (Town Information), which is also located in the castle. No costs are associated with walking.

    If arriving by bus, the closest bus stop is likely Harzgerode, Parkplatz. From there, it's approximately a 5-10 minute walk to the HARZKUGELEUM, following the signs to the Harzgerode Castle.
