Walking
From the Harzgerode town center, the HARZKUGELEUM is a short walk. Head towards the Harzgerode Castle (Schloss Harzgerode), as the museum is located within the castle grounds at Schloßberg 3. The walk is uphill, but well-signed. Look for signs pointing towards the castle or the Stadtinformation (Town Information), which is also located in the castle. No costs are associated with walking.

If arriving by bus, the closest bus stop is likely Harzgerode, Parkplatz. From there, it's approximately a 5-10 minute walk to the HARZKUGELEUM, following the signs to the Harzgerode Castle. Local bus fares are typically around €2-3. The Harzer Urlaubs-Ticket (HATIX), included in the "Harzgerode-Selketal" ticket booklet for overnight guests paying visitor's tax, allows free use of public buses and trams in the Harz region.

If driving, follow signs to Harzgerode and then to the town center. Designated parking areas are available near the HARZKUGELEUM, including "Am Torteich" and "Am Wallgarten", offering free parking without time limits. From the parking areas, it's a short walk to the castle entrance. Note that parking can be limited during peak season. There are no tolls on the immediate approach to Harzgerode.
