From the 'Gartenhaus' car park (the designated parking area for Burg Falkenstein), follow the well-marked path leading through the nature reserve towards the castle. The walk is approximately 1.9 km and takes around 30-40 minutes, offering scenic views of the surrounding landscape. Note that this is the unavoidable final leg for all visitors arriving by car or bus. Consider that the path is not fully accessible for those with mobility issues.
Special Transport
For those who prefer not to walk from the 'Gartenhaus' car park, the 'Falkensteiner Bimmelbahn' (a road train/castle taxi) provides transportation to the castle entrance. The cost is approximately €4 per person for a round trip. Alternatively, a horse-drawn wagon service is available, with prices varying depending on the number of passengers and distance.
