Walking
If you are in the Altstadt area, head towards Hauptstraße, the main pedestrian street. Walk along Hauptstraße towards Bismarckplatz. Continue straight for about 15 minutes, passing through charming shops and cafes. Once you reach Bismarckplatz, look for a large fountain. From Bismarckplatz, continue on Hauptstraße for another 5 minutes. You will see Karlsplatz on your left, just before the intersection with Plöck.
Bus
From the Heidelberg main train station (Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof), you can take bus number 33 or 34. Board the bus and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Bismarckplatz' stop. From there, walk along Hauptstraße towards Karlsplatz. It is a short 5-minute walk and you will find Karlsplatz on your left side.
Tram
If you are near the Heidelberg main train station, take tram line 5 towards Heidelberg Altstadt. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at 'Bismarckplatz' station. Once you exit the tram, walk straight along Hauptstraße for approximately 5 minutes until you see Karlsplatz on your left side.
