Start at Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station). Take the tram line 5 towards 'Heidelberg Kirchheim'. After 4 stops, get off at 'Bergheim'. From the tram stop, walk straight ahead on Bergheimer Straße until you reach the intersection with Eppelheimer Straße. Turn left onto Eppelheimer Straße and continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the entrance to the Stadtwald. Enter the Stadtwald and follow the signs for the hiking trails leading to Klingenteichwasserfall. The waterfall is approximately a 20-minute walk from the entrance.
