    From Heidelberg Hbf (main train station), take a train towards Mannheim. Check the schedule for trains that stop at Lorsch, as some may not. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Get off at Lorsch station. Once you arrive at Lorsch station, exit the station and turn left onto Bahnhofstraße. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Nibelungenstraße. Turn right on Nibelungenstraße, and the Lorsch Abbey will be on your left.

    At Heidelberg Bismarckplatz, take bus number 35 towards Lorsch. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Lorsch Bahnhof' stop. From the bus stop, walk straight along Bahnhofstraße for about 10 minutes until you reach Nibelungenstraße. Turn right onto Nibelungenstraße, and Lorsch Abbey will be on your left.
