Luisenpark: A Scenic Oasis in Mannheim

Getting There

• Bus

  From Heidelberg, make your way to the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can do this by walking or taking a tram to the station. Once at the station, look for the bus terminal. Take Bus Line 32 towards 'Mannheim, Hauptbahnhof.' The journey will take approximately 25-30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Mannheim, Luisenpark.' From there, it's a short walk to the entrance of Luisenpark, which is located at Theodor-Heuss-Anlage 2.

• Train

  Head to the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). From there, take a train towards Mannheim. The regional trains (S-Bahn or RE) frequently run every 15-30 minutes. The journey to Mannheim Hauptbahnhof takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and walk to the bus stop outside. Take Bus Line 32 towards 'Mannheim, Luisenpark.' Get off at the stop 'Mannheim, Luisenpark,' which is close to the entrance of Luisenpark.

• Tram

  Start at the Bismarckplatz tram stop in Heidelberg. Take Tram Line 5 towards 'Mannheim, Rheinau.' After about 30 minutes, get off at the Mannheim, Hauptbahnhof stop. From there, transfer to Bus Line 32 towards 'Mannheim, Luisenpark.' The bus ride will take around 10 minutes and you will get off at 'Mannheim, Luisenpark,' which is near the entrance.

• Walking and Tram

  Walk to the Bismarckplatz in Heidelberg. From there, take Tram Line 5 towards 'Mannheim, Rheinau.' Ride the tram until you reach Mannheim, Hauptbahnhof (about 30 minutes). After exiting the tram, walk about 10 minutes to the bus station and catch Bus Line 32 towards 'Mannheim, Luisenpark.' Get off at 'Mannheim, Luisenpark,' which will bring you right to the park entrance.
