Walking
If you are starting from Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), exit the station and head towards the main road, B37. Turn left onto B37 and follow it until you reach the intersection with B3. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight on B3, which is now called Hauptstraße. Walk along Hauptstraße, which is a pedestrian zone lined with shops and cafes. After about 1 km, you will reach the Marktplatz, which is a large square in the city center.
