From the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station), exit towards the main square (Bismarckplatz). Walk straight through the square and continue down the Hauptstraße until you reach the intersection with the Ziegelhäuser Weg. Turn left onto Ziegelhäuser Weg, and continue walking until you see a sign for the Philosophenweg (Philosopher's Walk). Follow the Philosophenweg uphill. After a short walk, you will arrive at the area where the Mauereidechsen are located near the cliffs.

From Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 5 towards 'Heidelberg, Ziegelhausen'. Get off at the 'Bergheim' stop. From there, walk along the Ziegelhäuser Weg until you reach the Philosophenweg. Follow the path along the Philosophenweg, and you will find the Mauereidechsen area close to the cliffs.
