Getting There

    From the center of Handschuhsheim, head west on Hauptstraße towards the river. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes until you reach the Neckar River. You will see a path that leads along the riverbank. Follow this path along the river until you see signs for the Philosophers' Way (Philosophenweg). The walk will offer beautiful views of the river and the surrounding area.

    If you prefer a quicker route, you can take the bus. Find the nearest bus stop in Handschuhsheim, such as 'Hauptstraße' or 'Heidelberg Handschuhsheim'. Take bus line 33 or 34 towards 'Heidelberg Bismarckplatz'. Get off at the 'Bismarckplatz' stop (approximately 10 minutes). From Bismarckplatz, walk towards the Neckar River, and follow the same directions along the river to the Philosophers' Way.
