Train
From Heidelberg, head to the Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof (main train station). You can take the tram line 5 or 24 from the city center to the Hauptbahnhof. Once at the station, purchase a ticket to Mannheim. Trains to Mannheim run frequently, approximately every 15-30 minutes. The journey will take around 20-30 minutes. Upon arrival at Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, exit the station and look for signs directing you to the tram station.
Tram
At Mannheim Hauptbahnhof, you can catch tram line 2 towards 'Mannheim, Käfertal' or line 1 towards 'Mannheim, Schloss'. Get off at the 'Werderplatz' stop. The Christuskirche is a short walk from there; head towards Werderpl. 17, and you will see the church nearby.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, from the 'Werderplatz' tram stop, walk southeast on Werderstraße towards Werderpl. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach Christuskirche at Werderpl. 17. The church is easily recognizable with its tall steeple.
