If arriving by public transport, the closest stop is Heidelberg-Altstadt S-Bahn station, located at the eastern end of Hauptstraße. From the station, walk west along Hauptstraße. The Haus zum Riesen will be on your left. Alternatively, take a bus or tram to Universitätsplatz or Rathaus/Bergbahn. From either of these stops, it's a short walk along Hauptstraße to the Haus zum Riesen. A single ride ticket on the bus or tram costs approximately €2.60.
