From Bacharach's central Marktplatz (market square) or St. Peter's Church, the Marktturm is a short walk. Head north on Marktstraße. The tower is integrated into the old city wall and is easily visible. The walk is less than 5 minutes and involves navigating cobblestone streets.
Public Transport
From Bacharach train station, walk towards the town center via Oberstraße. Turn right onto Blücherstraße, then left onto Koblenzer Straße. Continue onto Mainzer Straße, then turn right onto the Marktstraße. The Marktturm will be on your left, integrated into the city wall. This walk is approximately 10-15 minutes. A single bus ticket within Bacharach, if needed to shorten the walk from the station to a point closer to the town center, costs approximately €2-3.
Driving
Parking is available outside the city walls. From the B9, follow signs to Bacharach. Park in one of the designated parking areas along the Rheinufer (Rhine bank) or on the outskirts of town.
