From the Medebach Marktplatz (town square), follow Niederstrasse heading southwest. After approximately 1km, turn left onto a smaller road following signs for 'Rüdenscheid'. Continue for about 4km, passing through farmland and small clusters of houses. The entrance to the nature reserve will be on your left, with a small parking area marking the trailhead. The walk is approximately 5km and should take about 1 hour 15 minutes. Ensure you have appropriate footwear for the varied terrain.

From Medebach Marktplatz, take Bus line S30 towards Hallacker. Alight at the 'Medebach, Hallacker' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk south along the road for approximately 3km, following signs for Rüdenscheid. The entrance to the nature reserve will be on your left, with a small parking area marking the trailhead. The bus fare is approximately €2.50. The walk from the bus stop is approximately 45 minutes.
