Bus
From Koblenz, head to the main bus station, Zentraler Omnibusbahnhof (ZOB). Take bus line 8 towards Bonn. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at Bad Godesberg, Ahrstraße stop. The German Museum Bonn is a short 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Walk down Ahrstraße, and you will find the museum at Ahrstraße 45.

Train
From Koblenz Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take a regional train to Bonn Hauptbahnhof. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Bonn Hauptbahnhof, transfer to the U-Bahn (subway) line 16 towards Bad Godesberg. Get off at the Bad Godesberg station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk: exit the station, turn left onto Bahnhofstraße, and then continue straight until you reach Ahrstraße. Turn right, and the museum will be on your left at Ahrstraße 45.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Koblenz. Head towards the Rhine River and take the scenic route along the riverbank towards Bonn. The cycling path is well-marked and takes you through beautiful landscapes. The ride is approximately 20 kilometers and should take about 1 hour. Once you reach Bonn, follow the signs to Bad Godesberg and Ahrstraße. The museum is located at Ahrstraße 45.

Walking from Koblenz to Bonn is quite a long trek (about 30 kilometers), but if you are up for it, take the path along the Rhine River. Start from the Koblenz city center and head south along the river, following the signs to Bonn. This scenic walk will take you through parks and beautiful views of the river.
